Configuring the CSModule pack

Jun 28, 2006 at 12:15 AM
What about having our own .config file for this CSModule pack?

Then the user wouldn't have to clutter their original with more than adding the modules in the CSModules section.

We could even provide a GUI for configuring different settings for the CSModules through that .Config file.

Why we need .config files at all? I think all we need are Class Library projects for CSModules and nothing more.
One of us can be in charge of Tester and test the result on application.

Depending on what kind of CSModule we build we need .cofig files. For example, the integration with SmarterMail that I am planning to build, needs to get input on which maildomain to use, the CSModule fo new user defaults needs to read which default it shoud have.

It's better to keep everything integrated with CS default configuration. We can use attrbiutes in config elements to get whatever we need.
